On a rainy Sunday

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day in which the sky was a brilliant blue and the air had that "just right" crispness to it. Today we woke up to rain and fog. On days like this, Eliza likes to sleep, be rocked and held, play with her pink Snoopy and her new Boo dog, and sit in our laps and look out the window. She's such a sweet little Diva.

A Day in the Life

Eliza wakes up around 6 am ready to CHOW! After she gets her milk, she needs her diaper changed RIGHT NOW! After she's got a clean little bum, she's ready to go. She spends the next hour gurgling, laughing, smiling, pouting, and squealing. When the pouting starts to overtake the smiling, it's time for her nap. We wrap her up in her straight jacket (also known as her halo), and she is out for the count! Quick as we can, we clean the house, do the dishes, throw in a load of laundry, hop in the shower, drink a cup of coffee, cook up an Eggo. Before you know it, she NEEDS HER MILK! By now it's only 8 am! But just one look at that smiling chubby face, and you know it was all worth it.
